Two of our directors, Charlie Doel and Mark Hulse are taking on the 6-day Trek Transylvania in aid of the NSPCC.
They will start the trek by staying in small mountain villages to get to know the locals and their culture while tackling the rugged wilderness and the region's impressive mountain ranges. Their itinerary also includes travelling out to the King's Rock National Park which was home to the Carpathian Large Carnivore Project, a conservation programme to protect and monitor wolves, lynx and bears.
A trip to Transylvania wouldn't be complete without a visit to the castle of Romania's most famous son, Count Dracula which they will do on their third day.
The two will climb over 2,400 metres above sea level and will traverse the Transylvanian Alps in order to raise vital funds for NSPCC.
If you'd like to keep up to date with how their getting on, follow Strakers on Twitter for a daily blog from them both.
